While Working Hard on His First Feature Film, Director Eyal B Decided He Needs a Twist, Something Different, He Wanted Not Only Him and the Crew to Create the Film, but Also the Devoted Fans of the Genres. ‘Space Tripping‘, a Sci Fi Stoner Comedy Will Start a Kickstarter Campaign This Spring (Trailer Included Below). Just Before, the Production Calls You to Call out the next Moves. “We Want People to Watch the Trailer, Share with Their Friends, and Decide What’s Gonna Happen Next”.
According to the production, the movie will launch a Kickstarter campaign this spring (mailing list for updates is here), And you’ll be able to get in deep into the project and setting the tone yourself. Eyal B explains:
“The most valuable thing that I have to offer the audience is a real involvement in the creation of a project, and I don’t mean just as spectators. I truly want to involve the community of this film in every aspect of the creation. For example: writing a script together, deciding which joke will go in and which will be eliminated. It can be going over concept art and even contributing their own. It’s choosing wardrobe, arts , props, masks design, everything”.
The no.1 main difference between Eyal B and other filmmakers of his kind, is the fact that today he is working his craft from his computer at home, showing achievements that can easily mistaken to be produced in a major studio.
“Mainly due to the fact that I’m quite used to work in this method – meaning me myself and I staring at a dazzling screen”, he says, “This is the way I work from the early nineties doing illustrations, cartoons, animations visual effects and video editing. The real wonder is that for some reason, I don’t have glasses.”
Eyal’s professional career began at age 17 as a comics writer and illustrator. As he grow up his career shifted towards animation and visual effects and for the last years he’s been creating & directing the visual effects for popular television shows & advertising campaigns. He was the creator and director of a very successful show called “the green project” on Comedy Central. The show was sold to numerous countries around the world including the number 1 channel in China with over 55,000,000 viewers.
